Beach Plum is centrally located near to the town of Nantucket and a mile and a half to Surfside Beach. With easy access to the island’s bike paths, you can find your way to the food markets, a park or even your favorite workout place. Designed as a rural village using classic Nantucket cottage shapes and forms, Beach Plum has been built to reflect a village of yesteryear and renders an informal, friendly neighborhood feel.

Rules & Regulations

Beach Plum has amazing facilities that are available to owners, renters, and their guests. We ask everyone to treat these like they are your own. The maintenance and management of these resources are paid for via the community’s annual HOA fees. A summary of the rules can be found below. Pool highlights

  • Open from 9:00am until sunset.
  • Anyone younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Use of the pool is at your own risk as there is no lifeguard is on duty at any time.
  • Access requires a Beach Plum pool key tag, which should be visible at all times while at the pool.
  • No glass or breakable containers are permitted in the pool or clubhouse.
  • No smoking, alcoholic beverages or food is permitted in the pool area.
  • Roughhousing, foul language, running and diving are not permitted.
  • Individuals must take a cleansing shower before entering the pool.
  • All non-toilet trained or incontinent persons must wear waterproof pants when swimming.
  • Pet are not allowed.

Tennis highlights

  • Open from 7:00am until dusk and reservations are required.
  • Anyone younger than 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Players are responsible for sweeping the court and lines after each use.
  • Courts are to be used for playing tennis only (no bikes, baseball, basketball, skateboarding or other non tennis activity).
  • Proper tennis shorts and footwear are required on the courts at all times.
  • Glass or breakable containers, alcoholic beverages and food are not allowed on the courts.
  • Pet are not allowed.
Clubhouse & Gym highlights

  • Open from 5:30am until 9:30pm.
  • Persons under 12 years of age shall not be allowed in the fitness room.
  • Persons 14 or 15 years of age with adult supervision.
  • All use of fitness room and equipment is at your own risk.
  • Please turn off TV and Sonos when you leave.
  • Keep windows closed if AC is running.
  • Wipe down equipment after each use.
  • Pet are not allowed.
